This summer, I was privileged to help out with the recording of Todd Coolman’s new CD entitled Perfect Strangers, in which he solicited songs from the general public. In rehearsal and the recording studio, I was able to watch some of the world’s finest musicians at work, including Eric Alexander, Brian Lynch, Jim McNeely, John Riley, and Jon Faddis.
